Africa’s Digital Revolution
We believe that Africa
is at an inflection point.

Digitisation and connectivity are leaping Africa forward. Financial inclusivity and the convergence of the financial services and telecoms sectors has led to the creation of dynamic companies that are redefining the African economy and revolutionising the lives of its people.

These are the entrepreneurs we love and those are the businesses we back.
Our Approach
We’re all about profits.
Human profits as well as
Capital profits.

Unlike most other PE firms, our aim is not to provide ‘decent’ returns via clever financial engineering and a quick exit, but rather to create exceptional returns by actually working to grow the businesses we invest in.

We’re not traditional PE people or a traditional PE firm. And we never will be.
Our Investment Philosophy
The ‘blue-and-white
collar approach’.

We know and understand financial engineering. It’s important for returns enhancement but it does not make exceptional returns. We look for opportunities where we can add exponential value.

We focus on growth and scalability. Innovation, pivots and strategic repositioning.

We’ve done this for ourselves and now we are doing it for others. It’s a hands-on approach by interrogating operational business plans, helping to develop robust investment plans and direct portfolio company involvement.

This unique approach allows us to add value through strategy, deployment of capital, governance and growth and expansion plans.

It’s the difference between marginal returns and exceptional returns.
